Support playing as DPS is inevitable with this meta, though. If a flanking Genji or Reaper gets behind the line, you have to fight back, but it’s often too late if you wait for that moment. That means you have to be on the offensive, or you risk getting killed and being spammed with ironic ‘thanks’ and constant ‘I-need-healing’ in the chat. Yeah, I get it, but I was left on my own to fight the two DPS’ and a pushing tank. Healing the 50 damage you took isn’t high on my list of priorities right
I didn’t care much when Overwatch 2 launched. I fell off the original game a while ago, and it seemed like switching to a sequel when the game functioned perfectly in the live-service space was not only a bad idea, but downright irritating to players who needed to transfer over their data, own the correct type of phone, not to mention that the original version was shut down forever. Despite all that, I’ve been hooked back in like a Roadhog victim, but I’m not sure how much longer that can last. I think I’m ready for the single-player campaign now, ple
With so many flocking to the game now it’s free, the cracks are starting to show. I don’t know if we’ll see 6v6 return – at least, not in quick play and competitive – but whittling down the team size by gutting a tank has made Overwatch 2 inherently imbalanced, and no amount of hero tweaks will patch up the h
Longtime Overwatch fans who had credits piled up from the first game were awarded Legacy Credits by Blizzard. However, it appeared that the developer was being its stingy self when Halloween skins from OW1 were marked as ‘new’ and weren’t redeemable via Legacy Cred
It was at the Overwatch 2 Walkthrough|https://Overwatch2tactics.com/ League Grand Final that Blizzard announced Ramattra. This was the first OWL season since the launch of Overwatch 2, and the first one to be held in front of a live audience since the pandemic. The match itself was quite the spectacle – San Francisco Shock was one win away from the title when Dallas Fuel regrouped for a comeback and won the tournament
Each offers skins related to the event, but most importantly, they offer special game modes that last throughout the event. These events are even the reason to return to the game in case you’ve stopped. All that said, which one is the best tho
The biggest annoyance for many players is the fact that the only way to earn currency without paying is to complete weekly challenges. One of which involves getting ten team kills – which is actually reduced from the original
“Do not let your children play Overwatch 2,” said a Twitter user who came across this. “My 12 year old son found custom games within it, one called ‘Sexual Harassment’ and one game that simulated the female characters being raped. Thankfully my son realized it was bad, closed the game, and told me. Don’t pl
Mei mains felt a chill down their spines when they learnt that the Hero would be temporarily disabled in Overwatch 2 due to a glitch with her abilities. It seems players were using her Ice Wall ability to reach areas on the map which they shouldn’t be able to, kind of like how Sombra players were glitching into the payload. This prompted the dev to disable Mei, but you can expect her back on November
However, one Redditor wrote to Blizzard about this, and it turns out that it was an error. OW1 skins should not have been tagged as ‘new’, and should be redeemable via Legacy Credits . The customer support team asked them to submit a bug report after receiving their tic
So, it seems Blizzard has sent out a survey to a few players to ask them what they think of the microtransactions , and why they haven’t spent any money yet. They’re mostly multiple choice questions asking players why they primarily bought the Premium Battle Pass, and to elaborate on the reasoning if they’ve not bought anything at
“Remember how fun it was to grind out loot boxes for holiday events?” says Reddit user Lord-Canti. “Like when the Christmas event was going on you’d see everyone running around showing off their new Christmas skins and emotes? It was great but now you just get a measly amount of credits for doing annoying weekly challenges. Overwatch 2 feels so unrewarding to pl
Of course, single-player gets me back instantly. I love Overwatch’s aesthetic and it plays well, even if I’m not on a level to dominate every match-up. Being able to make my way through a campaign, flitting between heroes, going at my own pace, not worrying about teammates… that all sounds like the ideal way to play. I get Agents of Mayhem vibes from it all, and as one of planet Earth’s few Agents of Mayhem defenders , that’s no bad th
Sooner or later though, I’m going to get bored. Sooner, most likely. I’ll just be done with Overwatch and I’ll tap out. We have a huge swathe of massive games set to launch between now and the end of the year , and helping Ashe move a car around a city isn’t going to keep me away from Bayonetta , Kratos , or Sonic . I’m not sure I’ll be back. Nothing against the game personally, but it has become my go-to game to rewind, even overtaking FIFA . I’m just not sure how long it can hold that posit
