How to Set Up Custom Keyboard Shortcuts in WPS Office | Create Personalized Hotkeys in WPS | Customize Keyboard Commands for Faster Workflow

Setting up custom keyboard shortcuts in WPS Office allows you to streamline your workflow and increase productivity by assigning your preferred key combinations to frequently used commands. Whether you are editing content, adding media, or switching files, custom shortcuts can save you valuable time.

To begin, start WPS Office and select one of its modules—since the process is similar across all three. Navigate to the top menu and access Tools from the menu bar and pick Options from the dropdown list. This opens the Configuration window.

In the left panel, navigate to the Keyboard Shortcuts option. Here, you will see a list of all available commands grouped by category, such as Open, Edit, Navigate, Embed, and Format.

To create a new shortcut, first select the category that contains the command you wish to customize. Then browse the right-hand panel to locate the exact action. Click on it to activate the command.

In the bottom section of the window, you will see a field labeled Enter Key Combination. Press the key combination you would like to use—for example, Ctrl+Alt+V. Verify that no other function has claimed this shortcut, as WPS Office will notify you with a warning if it is.

If the shortcut is available, click the Assign button to save it. You can set up several shortcuts in succession.

After assigning all desired shortcuts, select Done to exit. Your new shortcuts will be functional right away and persist until manually altered.

To review or modify your shortcuts later, simply return to the Keyboard Shortcuts section. If you ever need to restore the default settings, there is a Reset All button available in the same window.

It is a recommended to maintain a written log of your hotkeys, especially if you use them often or collaborate with teammates.

Custom keyboard shortcuts in WPS Office are seamlessly transferable between releases and can be backed up and restored when switching systems.

With a little setup, you can make WPS Office feel more intuitive and tailored to your personal workflow.
