According to a post by the Redditor known as “Spudtatooooo”, it looks as if Dead by Daylight may not use the original Jigsaw–that is, John Kramer–and instead incorporate one of his disciples, as the leak uses “she” and “her” as pronouns for the Killer (Amanda Young, perhaps?). While its sequels were critically panned, the original Candyman film is notable for being well-received by both audiences and critics, praised for its social commentary as well as its scares and gore. The film is the story of an urban legend come to life, with the titular Candyman murdering his victims with a hook to keep people believing in his legend. Deathgarden is still in the alpha stages and a lot of its world and characters still have yet to be developed, but so far it seems like a burst of fun that could work. There are a few issues to be ironed out (gathering enough ammo for runners is a bit tricky), but the five-on-one gameplay works quite nicely, with both sides being vastly different yet feeling equally powerful, providing the opportunity for a lot of strategy. No release window has been announced for Deathgarden yet, but odds are that there will be a lot more opportunities for alpha and beta tests in the near future, so stay tuned for any further info on this impressive multiplayer mayhem.
Ghostface is a unique slasher movie villain in that it’s more of a title than a specific person. Over the course of four Scream films and an MTV series, multiple characters have donned the Ghostface persona, using it to play mind games with their victims before cutting them into ribbons.
